The first night Matt & Logan officially spent time together at the Leon Country Tavern during Gatorfest. Gatorfest will always be a special weekend because this is where everything started.

Our first Oktoberfest weekend together in LaCrosse! Matt was working at LaCrosse Beverage at this time, we are now a Budweiser family!

Little did Matt know, this was the first of many Valentine's Day celebrations and winery trips. He pretends to enjoy wine just to make Logan happy.

Matt & Logan share a birthday month, our birthdays are only three days apart! This year we turned 23 and celebrated with friends in Milwaukee for the Shamrock Shuffle.

We made it a year together! In our first year together- Matt started a new job at S&S Distributing in Sparta as a delivery driver. Logan went back to school for nursing at Viterbo University. After much debate, Logan packed her bags and moved from LaCrosse to Sparta. We planted our roots and started growing together.

Matt's first time to Mexico! We went on our first family vacation to Mexico to celebrate Logan's cousin's wedding. The party-moon is definitely something we are considering! Matt quickly realized that sunscreen is important...

Our first road trip together! We decided to make our way out to Colorado Springs (a 14-hour drive we will never do again) for the week. We camped in a national park, Matt was scared of bears and Logan was worried about snakes. We went on a few different excursions including white water rafting, visiting the Garden of the Gods, and conquering the Manitou Incline (pictured here). This was the point in the trip that Logan thought she would be going home alone after making Matt climb the trail! Going on a trip each summer before Logan went back to school was a special tradition we looked forward to.

We visited Green Bay for a Packer game with friends. One of our first dates was a Packer Game in the Miller Suite Deck. Matt really pulled out all of the stops for those first few dates!

Another tradition we started. Logan LOVES Christmas & real trees. We have gone each year and picked out our Christmas tree. After year one, Matt realized using a handsaw is some serious work. We prefer pre-cut now, but we still pretend that we cut it down! We have saved a slice of the stump and created an ornament for each year.

This summer was BUSY! We spent every weekend at softball, on the lake, at the golf course, or on the go. Logan traveled to New York and Nashville this summer for bachelorette parties. Since we have been together, there has never been a dull moment. We are both busybodies and love to keep going on the weekends!

Year 3 kicked off with another trip together before Logan started her last semester of nursing school. We took a trip to the North Shore along the Minnesota border. If you have not been there, we totally recommend it! We stopped in Duluth on our way there to enjoy ice cream. Along the journey, we enjoyed hiking, breweries, and a fabulous massage. After we got home from this trip, Matt got a promotion at work to be a relief salesman. We both were excited to be advancing in our careers!

WEDDING SEASON! The Fall of '22 we had 5 weddings in 6 weeks. Logan was in two of them. We had a blast celebrating our friends on their special days. Logan started to remind Matt that she doesn't always want to be a bridesmaid...

Logan graduated from Viterbo University with her Bachelor's of Nursing. We celebrated her accomplishment with breakfast at Fayze's in the morning and drinks with friends at night. A couple of months prior to graduation, she traveled to Belize for two weeks as part of a study abroad program. She accepted a full-time position at Tomah Health in the Women's Health Department.

We celebrated our 26th birthday in Mexico this year with the family! We took a trip to Hard Rock Cancun to celebrate graduations & birthdays. Logan passed her NCLEX a week before leaving! During this trip, Matt learned that he actually likes shrimp! Matt fried on day one, you would think he would have learned from last time. Ask him about his performance on stage in front of hundreds of people. This trip Logan thought FOR SURE he was going to propose... she came home empty-handed.

Matt proposed! Matt & Abbey had an elaborate plan to pop the question. Apparently, the night before Matt informed EVERYONE that he was proposing the next day. Logan had to work that night, so he literally proposed 30 minutes before she needed to leave. He just could not wait!! Earlier in the month we bought our first home together. We said goodbye to renting and hello to being homeowners. This was the start to our brand new chapter in life.

Our first summer as a FIANCE! Matt and I had another busy summer filled with home projects, softball games, golfing, and weddings. Wedding planning began- we secured our date & venue. Fun Fact: Country Boom in 2019 was the very first time Matt and Logan had a conversation together. Another special place to us.

We said goodbye to summer with a family trip to Eagle River, WI. We enjoyed a long weekend of golfing, fishing, kayaking, hiking, and playing bean bags. Matt got a promotion at work, he is now the newest (& cutest) salesman at S&S! This Fall we have engagement pictures scheduled and plan on relaxing!

We added two little fur balls to our family! Meet Binx and Frankie!

We found the dress! Mom, Abbey, Mallory, and Logan headed to New Glarus to try on dresses for the day. It did not take many to find "the one"!

Another year of Country Boom in the books, taking it back to where our relationship first started!

Matt said "yes" to the suit!!
