Q + A

When should I RSVP by?

We kindly ask that all RSVP's are provided by March 3rd, 2025 at the absolute latest. This will allow us adequate time to finalize with vendors. That said, please respond as soon as you know if you and your guest will be in attendance. Please still RSVP even if it is to decline (sadly).

When should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive for the ceremony 20 minutes early to allow time for seating.

Can we bring our kiddos?

While we adore all of the little humans in our life, we have decided to keep our event adults only with the exception of our ring bearer. We acknowledge that this creates an added challenge for folks and some people may not be able to attend; we understand, and still love you dearly.

How can I prepare for the weather?

The Okanagan in May is usually warm during the day with cooler evenings, and there is definitely a possibility for rain. The ceremony will be partially outside (some seating outside, some inside) but if it is raining we will transition to fully indoors.

What is the dress code?

"but what will I WEAR!?" ... (bonus points from the bride if you can guess where that quote's from). Semi-formal or dressy-casual. We want our guests to feel comfortable enough to hit the dance floor with us, but also seize the opportunity to dress up!

Is there parking available?

If choosing to drive there is free parking overnight at the venue or across the street at Coldstream Christian Church. To ensure people have safe transportation to and from the event please see alternative options: U-ride is a popular app (similar to Uber); Vernon Taxi (250) 545-3337; Home Bound Safe and Sound (will drive your vehicle home for you) 250-550-8099 Most importantly, PLEASE don't drink and drive.

Can I take pictures?

Please keep phones and cameras are tucked away during the ceremony. We have a wonderful photographer and videographer that will capture our ceremony and we would be happy to share what they deliver. Feel free to use phones throughout the rest of the day (and send us all your photos!!!)

What can we do between the ceremony and cocktail hour?

We kindly ask that people leave the venue location during this time so that it can be transformed into the reception layout. The venue is a 3 minute drive from the beautiful Kalamalka Lake & Provincial Park, and Coldstream Park is a 3 minute walk (all great options for a stroll and some pictures). Alexander's Pub is a 3 minute drive and a great place if you want a beverage to keep the good vibes going, and BNA brewery is a 6 minute drive.

Can I bring you a gift?

We are so appreciative of everyone making the trip to celebrate together and gifts are not expected, however contributions to our honeymoon fund will be deeply appreciated.

We know you're wondering.. but whats the booze situation?

There will be a toonie bar with beer, wine, highballs & a few signature drinks. We are utilizing a ticket system and they can be purchased at the bar from our bartenders via cash or square-payment system.
