Back in 2021, Marissa was lucky enough to become friends and college roommates with Logan's cousin, Presley. One night, Presley asked her, "What is your type?" Marissa responded with, "probably a brown-haired, country boy.""Oh! Do I have the perfect guy for you!" Presley responded.She then set us up on social media, allowing us to connect. If you know Logan, the only thing to do in the month of March is shed hunting. Which is exactly where Logan took Marissa for their first date.After a few years of dating, their college graduations and finding jobs, they decided it was time to find a house. On February 10th, 2024, after liking a house they just viewed, they debated putting in an offer. What a better way to decide than to go shed hunting. Before going into the woods, Marissa and Logan made a pact, "If we find a shed today, it must be meant to be, and we will put an offer in on the house."Just before reaching the end of the property, they were feeling defeated as they had not come across a shed thus far. BUT! Right before they were going to call it quits for the day, they found one!Just as they said, "meant to be," the house was meant to be theirs! An offer was placed, accepted, and they house was theirs at the end of March 2024. Fast forward over the year of Marissa being patiently impatient on Logan's proposal, they adopted Tank, their four-legged baby, in September 2024. February 9th, 2025This day was a Sunday, and barely above freezing, but Logan insisted they go shed hunting anyway. They spent 3 hours suffering through the cold &amp; wind, and coming up with no sheds, they made their way to the last property, Logan's parents.Logan guided Marissa up to the top of the hill where she came across an antler. As she picked it up, she read "Marry Me?" written across the antler. When she turned around, Logan was on one knee and asked her to marry him!Logan had gone out the night before, in a snowstorm, to place the antler for Marissa to find. This antler that Logan used to propose was the antler that they had found nearly one year prior when they put the offer in on their house. It was truly meant to be!He also had his sister, Emily, hide up in the enclosed hunting shack so she could capture pictures of the once in the lifetime moment! They cannot wait to celebrate with all of their family and friends, as they start their journey as husband &amp; wife!
