In October of 2020, Cheyenne and Logan met in Jacksonville, FL while Cheyenne was on a pediatrics rotation at Wolfson Children's Hospital, where Logan worked. They initially connected on the dating app Bumble, where Logan was forced to say "Hi" to Cheyenne first. He responded soon after and asked her to meet in person.
Their first date was at a bar near Logan's house, Grape and Grain, where they talked and laughed for over two hours on a random Monday night. After that initial meeting they kept seeing each other often during Cheyenne's three month rotation. Cheyenne moved back to Tampa in December, promising to stay in touch.
From then on, they spoke every day until they met again. Cheyenne and Logan fell naturally into a relationship and committed to making long distance work. In February of 2021, Cheyenne invited Logan to his hometown of Shreveport, LA to meet his family and to experience a good ol' crawfish boil. From there, it was love. For over two years they drove back and forth to see each other, taking trips and having fun, all while discovering each other along the way.
In November of 2022, Logan's family was taking a trip to the Biltmore in Asheville, NC to celebrate her dad's birthday. Little did she know, her whole family was behind the scheme for Cheyenne to propose to her in front of the beautiful Biltmore mansion. A photographer was set up to capture the happiest moment of their lives thus far. November 5, 2022 will always be remembered as a very special day.
Cheyenne and Logan are now moving to Dallas for Cheyenne's fellowship in the summer of 2023, finally getting to be together after almost 3 years of long distance. Dallas is their new start and new home, and as such, only felt right to have their wedding there and to begin this new chapter as husband and wife. They can't wait to see what the future brings from here.
Thank you all for being part of this story. Cheyenne and Logan are nothing without their families and friends and look forward to building a life together with you all by their sides.
