Hannah is a one-of-a-kind nerd. In college she studied biology with a focus on microbiology. This came as no surprise to her parents as her favorite picture book was How the Body Gets Sick. If you ask them, I bet they still have it memorized. Despite being an introvert, Hannah has always been drawn to medicine. This is surprising as she has a tendency to put her foot in her mouth which has led to some pretty interesting stories. She currently works as a CNA and telemetry tech on the cardiac in-patient floor at Providence St. Patrick's Hosptial.
In her free time, Hannah is the world biggest dog mom. Nugget has dominated her life since seeing her behind bars (at the shelter) in 2022. They are hiking, napping, snacking, and people watching buddies. Hannah hopes to soon master her Cricut so that they can have matching t-shirts.
Besides being a dog mom (because apparently that isn't allowed to be your only hobby), Hannah loves board games. She may not look like much, but she will quietly kick your ass at any game. That is except for trivia games or poker which the Oleson family dominates. Hannah is also a fan of This Podcast will Kill You and pretty much any shark movie (good or bad).
Of the two, Logan is the more reserved one. However, be warned when Logan is quiet it really means they are waiting to crack the perfect joke. It was that dry humor combined with their incredible whit that drew Hannah to them.
In college, Logan study cell biology and neuroscience. It was their love for anything eye related that drew them to this. They currently work as an opthalmolic assistant to a retina specialist (aka the angry polish man) at Rocky Mountain Eye. Their job consists of assisting with eye injections, remembering the Dr's password for him, scribing, listing to the Dr's rant on something that upset him that day, updating patient charts, and magically fixing many things that the doctor and patients don't even know about.
In their free time, Logan loves to watch movies. Their favorites are ones with some psychological depth and some horror (ex: It, A Quiet Place, Pearl, and Us). They are also an avid Stephen King fan, books and movies. They are also the beloved parent to both animals, particularly so to Missoula's local tyrant aka Ellie. Ellie also came from Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter in Bozeman, MT in June of 2023. On her intake paperwork the word "chatty" was underlined and bolded yet both Hannah and Logan why they never get a moment of peace. There is an art to cat string toys, and Logan have mastered it. There is also an art to growing cat grass year-round in MT. Hannah has mastered that.
When planning a wedding, Logan and Hannah both thought about eloping. They are both quiet, introverted people who wanted an event that they would both feel comfortable at. Hannah has a deep hatred of small talk and Logan prefers to be in PJs by 9pm so wedding haven't historically been their thing. But what held them back was not wanting to miss out on sharing the day with those closest to them. That is how this intimate, non-traditional wedding was born.
At our wedding, we want to do a few things differently. First, the guest list is small (around 50 people) because we want to be able to spend meaningful time with everyone. Secondly, this is going to be a quiet wedding. As both of us hate loud noises and get overstimulated rather easily, we are not going to be blasting music. We would rather play some of our favorite board games with all of you and allow the two families to finally meet each other in person. Finally, Logan will be in PJs by 9pm so this will be an earlier wedding. Unless Hannah finds them some really nice wedding PJs...
