If you’re looking for a breakfast/brunch location for Sunday morning we recommend Diamond’s. It’s our go to for all day breakfast food (and unlimited coffee 😉)

Carlee loves Big Hungry’s Daylight Donuts. If you plan to go, she recommends the chocolate frosted cinnamon roll.

If you want to kill some time and get your caffeine fix, we recommend The River Coffee Company! We love the atmosphere and spent many Saturdays here planning our wedding.

We have quite a few favorite spots to eat. Here’s some of our top recommendations: Monical’s (pizza), Coney McKanes (pie- with the Lee Bronkema stamp of approval), Anna Thai (Thai food), Krekel’s (Central Illinois staple), Taproot (a little bit of everything), Texas Roadhouse (we know this isn’t local but we love the rolls too much to keep it off the list!)

One of our favorite places to grab coffee and lunch is Legendary Small Town Trading Co. They have lots of cute seating options and a large selection of specialty wines.

Nesty's is also a great place to grab lunch or dinner. They have great burgers!

The town square has a lot of cute shops and fun things to explore. It's a perfect way to get a glimpse of small town Illinois.
