Our love story........ “He is my best friend”.

One day, a friend mentioned that Chase was available for dating. I bet her that I would contact him on social media. We joked together because she did not think that I would follow through with it. She was wrong...... I did, and the rest is history.

The engagement came as a complete surprise!!!! We went on vacation to Beaufort, NC. My friend who was there suggested that we go out on the beach and she would take pictures of us. I needed my nails done and she suggested a nail salon nearby to go to. Later that afternoon, I got dressed and we headed out to a little private beach across the waterway. Chase, Barrett and I were out on the beach getting pictures. My friend told me to turn to the water for a picture, and when I turned back around, Chase was down on one knee. Barrett, Chase's son, was there to share in our joy and joined us following the proposal. This will always be a special memory to me.
