I briefly saw James the first Sunday in our YSA ward and thought he was so cute. We later met that night in our apartment complex's hot tub. We introduced ourselves and talked for a little bit!

James and I had been hanging out in big groups for a couple of weeks, so James decided to ask me out on our first date to a haunted house... I was not too excited, haha! I did end up saying yes, and we actually had a really good time together!

London: Every day with James is pure happiness; it all started there. James turned every trial, heartbreak, and sadness into joy. That's when I knew I never wanted to be without him. That feeling continually kept growing bigger and bigger until I got a very firm answer that James was everything I needed. James: Right after our first night together, I knew that London would be a very important person in my life, yes a part of me thought I'd marry her. I thought that was crazy at the time. As London and I got to know each other and progressed in our dating journey, that feeling became a reality. I knew that there was no one else in the world that I'd rather be with, and I knew that I couldn't live life everyday without her.

Temple dates, take lots of pictures, working out, be outside, eat good food, and go to movies, etc.

We were in San Clemente for our school's spring break, and we brought two of our friends with us. On Wednesday night, we took some fun pictures on the beach. Thursday rolls around, and one of our friends insisted on going and taking some more before I needed to drop them off at the airport. I wasn't super keen on the idea with our limited time and since we already had photos on the beach, but she insisted. So, we get to the beach and start taking some photos. James swings me out, grabs the ring out of his back pocket, swings me in, and gets on one knee. I was shocked, to say the least. My heart started beating so fast, my hands were shaking, and tears were streaming down my face. I said yes! We called our family and loved ones on our way to the airport. It was such a surreal moment getting engaged in my favorite place to my favorite person.
