Our wedding will take place at the El Portal Community Hall in our home town. Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors!
What's the dress code?
We're going for a "Backyard Wedding" vibe meaning we want you to dress up but your attire doesn't need to be formal. Think of an outfit you'd wear to a special occasion that's a bit rustic! Some ideas to help you decide your attire are: Button down shirts (w/ or w/o a tie), nice pants that aren't jeans, dresses, rompers, and so on. Your shoes should be a little dressy but comfortable enough for grass and dirt surfaces!
What will the weather be like?
In October the weather in El Portal tends to be on the warmer side - however, it can get quite chilly once the sun goes down. We recommend bringing a light jacket or cardigan!
Where can we park?
There is limited parking directly in front of the community hall and additional dirt parking lot near the bus stop (near the Yosemite Conservancy building), just an eighth of a mile away.
What should I do if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?
Please reach out to us directly so we can make accommodations!
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! We are doing a community style bar, meaning that friends from our community will be bartending. Please be friendly with your bartender and don't be shy about striking up a chat with them! And most importantly, please drink responsibly :-)
Do you have a registry?
The thing we want more than anything is to celebrate our love and marriage with our family & friends! The most precious gift to us is your attendance at our wedding :)
