We met during the weather delay at the first Aggie football game of 2022. We had mutual friends in our groups who saw each other and started chatting. While they caught up, Lora decided to break the ice by asking Michael, "am I supposed to know you or something?" Michael introduced himself and we hit it off!

We went on our impromptu first date (we had a dinner date set for later in the week). We went to Breakaway, got pizza, and drove around listening to our favorite songs. A nearby high school had its football field open, so we laid on the 5-yard line and looked at the stars. It was so romantic!

After two-stepping the night away with some friends at Harry's, Michael asked Lora to officially be his girlfriend! 9/23/22 would become our anniversary.

Love was in the air at the wedding of our good friends, Emily and Connor Kelly! We stayed late to help pack up with the family, and when Michael dropped Lora off, we exchanged "I love you's" to each other just a week and a half into dating (although Michael had let it slip a few times before)!

Lora graduates from Texas A&M with a B.A. in Communication! We would then spend the next 6 months long-distance. The Lord worked so much in our relationship!

Right after his summer internship, Michael joined the Kim's to move Lora into her studio apartment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He spent 3 days putting together IKEA furniture with Lora's dad. Halfway through the long-distance phase!

Michael graduates with his degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering! The Lord made His plan SO clear for the next chapter of our lives. Long-distance over!

On 12/30/23, Michael got down on one knee! He and his family set up a beautiful proposal in Harry Myers Park in Rockwall, TX. After he popped the question, he took Lora to a surprise engagement party where we celebrated with our families!

We are loving engaged life in Wisconsin! Lora finished the first year of her M.A. program at UWM, and Michael is working as a process engineer for Walmart. God has been blessing us and preparing us for marriage.
