I first spotted Nick at a track meet when I was in the eighth grade. I thought he was the CUTEST thing ever. Fast forward to freshman year of high school, we really got to meet in science class. Nick began flirting with me, and as a "joke", he made me a ring out of wire and washer and told our group that I was going to be his wife. I told him I would wear it forever.

I wasn't kidding, either. I knew from that moment he was the one. I knew I was so young, only fourteen, but it felt so right. I think everyone knew.

Years have passed since the wire and washer days, but our love has gotten so much stronger. On October 23,2015, Nick proposed to me and gave me the shock of my life! I had planned our campus photos, and Nick managed to run with the idea.

This past July, we moved to Charleston for our jobs, and started our lives together. Now we are ready to make it official on April 8!
