Our Wedding

<p>Lorelei and Grant met in 2008, in their kindergarten class at Sharp Creek Elementary School. Alesha (Lorelei's mother) was deployed during the school year so, Rhonda (Grant's mother) would put Lorelei in her groups on field trips to send pictures back to Alesha. Alesha got new orders and Lorelei moved away for 15 long years, however, Alesha and Rhonda stayed in touch to keep their goal of the two marrying alive. Lorelei was still writing about Grant in her diary when she was 12 years old living across the world in Italy. Meanwhile Grant was focusing on swimming and farming to pass the time. Lorelei moved back home to Indiana in July of 2022 and a short year later Rhonda ran into her at work. Lorelei remembered her and Grant right away and texted Alesha that she had seen her long time friend and was very excited to hear Grant was still around. Rhonda called Grant to tell him Lorelei was back immediately, and he got right in his truck to go see her. Fifteen minutes later the two were reunited at last and were inseparable from the start. Of course Rhonda and Alesha knew the couple were going to get married one day, and are thrilled all these years of planning worked. Lorelei and Grant bought their first home together in February 2024 and were engaged on November 28th, 2024.</p>
