Andrew and Lorelei first met in Junior High Band. Originally, they were part of different groups and did not interact much. As they entered freshman year of high school, Lorelei became friends with Andrew's older brother around the same time that Lorelei and Andrew started having more classes together. Because of Lorelei's friendship with Joshua and the classes Andrew and Lorelei had together, they started becoming friends. Lorelei and Andrew remained friends until Junior year of High School when they finally admitted feelings for each other. They officially started dating June 14th, 2022.

Andrew and Lorelei dated throughout their senior year, and ended up winning prom king and queen together. After they graduated, Andrew did a year at Liberty University in Virginia while Lorelei remained at home and attended the University of Toledo. After their freshman year of college, Andrew decided to come home and finish college online.

October 25th, 2024, Andrew proposed in their favorite picnic spot and they began planning their wedding. The wedding will take place on their four year anniversary of being together.
