Hood River National Forrest is basically our backyard. There are so many hikes to go on, waterfalls to see, people skiing in May.
Tamanawas Falls, Lost Lake, Lookout Mountain are just a few of the great places to adventure.

If you are flying here and landing in Portland, Historic Columbia River Highway or Route 30 is a great way to jump right in!
This is an alternative route to the main interstate which will take you about half of the way towards Hood River. The drive is gorgeous and will feature several waterfalls. Set your GPS for the Vista House and stay on the old highway until it ends!
