Recommendations for places to stay:
The church is in Bend and reception will be in Sunriver. We recommend people traveling with families to stay near Sunriver, it’s a beautiful and calm place to be! For our rowdy crowd, we’d recommend staying closer to Bend. We might wanna keep the party going after the wedding and go downtown Bend! More things open later than Sunriver and more options for food/drinks if you’re a foodie. We live in La Pine and it might be the most cost effective area to stay in since it’s a holiday weekend (Sunriver is VERY popular for Memorial Day weekend).
If you’re into cabins/lodges, we recommend Paulina Lake Lodge, Twin Lakes Resort, or Sunriver Resort (worth the splurge).
