Lori and Bobby's story unfolded on a spring day at Beaver Brook Park, nestled in the heart of Waltham, Massachusetts. Fresh out of nursing school, Lori relished her newfound freedom. Her loyal Golden Retriever, Coco, had been her faithful companion for years, accompanying her on their daily park adventures, rain or shine, always at the same time, alongside their familiar group of canine friends.

But destiny had a twist in store for them.

Bobby, on the other hand, was confined to working from his apartment, yearning for a companion and an escape from the monotony of his home. For some reason known only to him, he had an instant notion of "corgi" without realizing the exercise demands that came with those endearing short-legged creatures. Fortunately, a park was conveniently located just a short stroll away, and that park happened to be Beaver Brook.

Bobby, initially a bit like Smalls from his favorite movie "The Sandlot," tiptoed around Lori and the other dog owners for a few days, hoping to be welcomed into their close-knit circle. Eventually, the ice broke, and he was embraced into the fold. What followed became a cherished chapter in their lives.

Blueberry and Coco, Bobby and Lori's dogs, formed an inseparable bond almost instantly, mirroring the connection blossoming between their owners. This newfound friendship made it effortless for Bobby to gather the courage and invite Lori out for a drink, little did he know, Lori was only 20 at the time. The drink was substituted for dinner at Sweet Basil on Moody street and the rest is history!
