Have you ever felt like giving up on love? We both had this feeling at the same time. We both felt like that special someone just wasn't out there. After numerous nights of praying and accepting the fact that there is no perfect man, I (Lori) gave my future to God. Best. Decision. Ever.
Ryan and I gave each other a chance and kept an open mind during the beginning stages of talking. I was such an independent woman who was longing for a man to step in and willingly want to do the "manly" things around the house so I didn't have to. Ryan almost immediately offered to do some of those things. So, of course I let him.
Over the course of our relationship, we have been on some amazing vacations and have made some great memories. I love that we both enjoy the little things in life like sitting on the front porch of a cabin in the mountains listening to the creek.
We thank God everyday for each other and the life we have created thus far.
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." -1 Corinthians 13:4-8
