July 23.2022 Dinner at Marlow’s Tavern followed by a Braves vs. Angels baseball game.

Lorie is a born & raised Augusta, GA native. Dennis was born in Chester, IL. But has lived in Evansville, IL, Dallas/Fort Worth, TX, Arlington, TX and made it to the great state of Georgia around the age of 9. His youth was in Norcross, GA and the last 10+ years have been in Douglasville, GA.

They had just arrived in the Blue Ridge mountains on Dennis’ birthday. Nick arrived before them and set up a banner and a bouquet of flowers. After everything was unpacked, Nick told Lorie to go downstairs, and Dennis got on one knee and popped the question. Lorie was stunned and momentarily mute. She didn’t expect him to propose on his birthday.

That’s the first fall weekend of 2024. Dennis and Lorie both love autumn. It’s their favorite season.
