This was the night of our first date, hanging out in the car and chatting before heading into the movie theatre.

This was Lou's first time in NYC. Katie got a $150 parking ticket after only being there for 5 minutes checking into our hotel, and definitely wanted to cry. We still made it one to remember!

We're just babies here on our 1 year anniversary. We celebrated at the Top of the Hub in Boston. Look at us now!

Ofcourse we had to go to another Red Sox game! This night had the most perfect weather, and we had Bella and Noel join us which made it even better.

Katie's second summer trip to France included a couple days to Chamonix with Louis and his parents!

This was Katie's first trip to LSSU to visit Louis! We were off to the library to get some school work done together. We were so happy this day.

This was the one time Katie got out to Michigan to visit Lou before classes and hockey started, so we got to enjoy the beach a lot.

One of our favorite winter trips to Boston during our "short" Christmas break that we got together.

Our first trip to Maine together with Katie's best friends and their significant others. We had the best time, even though the girls didn't know how to skate.

This was Louis' junior year of college at LSSU when they won the WCHA championship in Mankato, Minnesota. Katie made the 10 hour drive from Michigan with a couple of other girlfriends, and it was the most exciting time ever.

Katie and Lou's first time in Martha's Vineyard together!

First visit of the year for Lou's junior year! Katie was there to see him score a hat trick for the second time!!

Louis got a couple days off for spring break for the first time, so we decided to take a trip to Detroit with a couple of the guys and catch our first Red Wings game together!

This was in Madrid, Spain. We planned a summer trip from Lou's home in France to Madrid, and then from Madrid to Lisbon, Portugal!

One of our favorite memories. Our Lake State friends Jacob and Naomi who we got to be there to capture their engagement during college, got married in Kalamazoo, Michigan this summer. It was one big reunion with all of our college friends who we hadn't seen in a long time. Louis was one of the groomsmen as well!

Lou's first PTO contract with the Laval Rockets in Laval, Canada. Katie made the 6 hour drive to see his first pro debut along with his dad, Jérôme!

This was taken right before the engagement happened. Fun fact, Obama was on this exact boat two weeks before, sitting in the exact same spot as us! Louis was of course very excited about the engagement, but he wanted to remind me to tell EVERYONE about Obama.

Our second week in Iowa. We were so excited about the leaves changing, and to go for a walk and explore our new home.

Our first year engaged, living together, and Louis' first pro year with the Iowa Heartlanders/Iowa Wild. It has been the best year and one for the books. We're so excited for what's to come in the future.
