Louis and Madi met through mutual friends at Ball State University. It wasn’t until senior year that they officially met. Louis and Madi both lived in the same dorm freshman year, but their paths never crossed. Madi’s freshman year roomate ended up becoming friends with Louis during sophomore year and eventually Madi and Louis were introduced through Madi’s freshman year roomate at the end of junior year one night at a social gathering. Soon after, COVID hit and everyone was sent home for the remainder of junior year. Louis and Madi stayed in touch through COVID and into the summer. Fast forward to end of summer going into senior year, Louis invited Madi to visit Cedar Point where Louis worked during the summer. Madi decided to take a weekend and visit Louis to go to the amusement part for their first date. The two quickly hit it off and started dating at the beginning of their senior year.

Louis and Madi made so many good memories despite their senior year not looking exactly how they pictured it. The two got to spend a lot of time together getting to know each other and planning for their future. The two walked together in their graduation ceremony and got to celebrate with both their families. After college, Louis moved back to South Bend for a few months. Shortly after, he landed a job in Indy near Madi and made the move to be closer. The two officially started their lives together.

Fast forward to 2023, Louis had a very important question to ask Madi. Louis planned a vacation to Florida to get all the friends together. They were celebrating Madi’s 25th birthday, but little did Madi know that this was the trip that Louis planned to propose to her. Two days into vacation, Madi’s sister planned a picnic on the beach for the group to watch the sunset. Louis took this opportunity to get down on one knee to ask Madi to spend the rest of their lives together. They celebrated by jumping out of an airplane the next morning to kick off the engagement and Madi’s 25th birthday!

Louis and Madi are so excited to start this next chapter of their lives together. They are excited to celebrate with everyone and look forward to what the future holds! Cheers!
