Q + A
Do I need to book accommodation?
Accommodation is reserved for our sole use at Villa Baroncino where we will be getting married from Saturday 7th - Saturday 14th September. Nearer the time, when the RSVPs are confirmed, we will organise everyone into the best rooms/apartments based on party size/who knows who and how long people wish to stay, as some rooms need to be booked for the full week. A minimum stay of two nights is required for each room as part of the package agreement.
What facilities are at the villa?
The villa (technically two villas) is located in a vineyard, it has two swimming pools, communal lounge and kitchen facilities, and a barbecue. More information can be found on the Villa Baroncino website via the Travel tab. Oh and there's also a lot of free wine!
Who is invited?
As we are so restricted on numbers, only those specified on the invite are invited to the wedding.
Is there a dress code?
Formal Italian Vineyard:
Men - Jackets and ties optional, we'd rather long trousers for the ceremony at least, with shirts and nice shoes.
Women - I'm seeing summery but formal, for example florals/pastel/colourful dresses.
For info - bridesmaids are in dusky pink and groomsmen in dark blue
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We kindly ask that you keep phones away during the ceremony so that you can be fully present and the photographer can capture the best images!
How hot will it be?
The temperature during the day is likely to be mid to high twenties (22-28 degrees), cooling slightly at night to 15-18 degrees. Don't forget the suncream!
Gifts
Please do not feel obliged in any way to get us a gift, we truly appreciate the cost and time you are putting in to join us for our wedding! If you're adamant that you wish to mark the occasion, any contribution toward our honeymoon would be gratefully received!
