The wedding will be on grass, please plan your shoe choices accordingly!
IS THE WEDDING CEREMONY "UNPLUGGED"?
Yes. We ask that you turn off or silence your phones and refrain from taking pictures during the wedding ceremony.
ARE CHILDREN INVITED?
No. Your children are wonderful but this is an adults-only wedding. Parents of small children, think of this as your night off!
MAY I BRING SOMEONE WHO IS NOT LISTED ON THE INVITATION?
Due to space constraints, we can accommodate only the persons whose names appear on invitations.
Why are there cannons going off?
Larchmont Yacht Club observes a military maritime ceremony for the lowering of the American flag . A few minutes before the sun is scheduled to set (8:18pm on our wedding day!) we will announce that it is time for Colors and ask everyone to please stand and remove any hats. The entire club will stand in silence facing the flag while it is lowered. A cannon will be fired and you will hear the words "carry on" and carry on we shall!
