Louise and Mitch met while taking a first year economics class at Thompson Rivers University. Mitch was in his first year of his Political Science and Economics degree and Louise was taking the required economics class for her Events and Conventions Management Diploma. One the first day of classes Mitch was sitting in the front row and Louise was sitting in the third. Throughout the entire first few classes Mitch kept making jokes that only Louise laughed at. Mitch kept looking back at Louise and thinking "HER!" They exchanged many smiles to each other. In the second week of classes, Louise came into class one day and saw Mitch sitting in the same row as she usually sat. Louise got a huge smile on her face when she saw Mitch sitting there. The first thing Louise said to Mitch was "Oh! You're sitting up here today?" They sat together from that day on.
After that class Louise invited Mitch to walk around clubs day with her. He agreed and they walked together for half an hour before Mitch had to go to his next class. Louise gave Mitch her number and a hug after she walked him to his class. Mitch texted Louise right away and that made her extremely happy. After Mitch was done that class, Louise met him outside the room and asked him if he would like to hang out. They then went to the Browns House of Learning on campus and talked to each other for a solid four hours!! Mitch then had to go to a movie with his friends as he had that planned beforehand. Louise then went home and waited until when she thought the movie was over to text Mitch. He texted back right away and they texted each other all night until about 3:00am.
From that day on they have been inseparable. Seeing each other everyday before going to class, having coffee together and studying together.
Mitch and Louise have been a couple since September 22, 2019. The story of how they became a couple is a cute one.
As some of you know, Louise was a part of the sorority at Thompson Rivers University. During the recruitment time the sorority and the fraternity did a couple of join recruitment events. Louise thought that it would be fun to invite Mitch to one of the joint events; The Murder Mystery night, Mitch came mostly to spend more time with Louise. During the whole event, Louise and Mitch were being flirty in a very obvious way: touching each other's backs, smiling at each other, making bad jokes to one anther, stuff like that. Once the event came to an end, Mitch came up to Louise and very confidently said, "So... Where can I take you for dinner?" Louise being Louise smiled, lowered her head shyly and said, "I don't know". The event ended around 9:30/10:00pm. After the event, they walked to Mitch's truck and went for a drive. They were not sure what was open as it was so late in the day. As they were driving past Boston Pizza, they saw that it was open and rushed there to get some food. They talked for hours again and kept learning more about each other. This could be considered their first date. Mitch drove Louise home and walked her up to her apartment.
While saying goodnight to each other, Louise took her shot and kissed Mitch. Their first kiss was amazing! They both felt butterflies and would not let each other go. Louise took another leap of faith and asked Mitch if he wanted to come in and watch some Jim Jefferies as they were both big fans of his. Mitch agreed. Louise could not have been happier. They went into Louise's room and watched one of Jim's comedy specials on Netflix. They sat and watched movies until about 2:00am. Mitch then said that he should head home and get some sleep. They said goodnight and texted each other until they fell asleep.
Louise and Mitch made plans to meet up before class the next day and they were both extremely happy to see each other. They walked around campus and held hands.
Louise knew that she had someone special when one day she had a really rough day at school and Mitch bought her some chocolate to make her feel better. Not only that but he got her one of her favourite types of chocolate; a Kit Kat.
A couple of days after their first kiss, they made plans to go on another date. They planned on going for all you can eat sushi which is something else they bonded over.
Louise was so excited about this date that she got ready really early and went down to the street to wait for him to arrive. When Mitch arrived, he went to the back seat and emerged with a dozen orange roses! Louise almost started crying because Mitch is the first man who has ever gotten her flowers other than her brothers!
They went upstairs and put the flowers into some water and then went to Royal Tokyo for all you can eat sushi. They went through two rounds before calling it quits and enjoyed how they both liked similar types of sushi.
After their sushi date, they went back to Louise's apartment again and they watched movies together. Louise invited Mitch to spend the night and he agreed. They cuddled and fell asleep.
The next morning Louise asked Mitch if he would like to be her boyfriend and they have been together ever since.
