Like all great loves of our time, Lucas and Leah met online. In their first conversation they discovered their favorite board game was both Codenames, and Leah announced she would begin planning the wedding.

Soon after, Lucas scored a full-time remote position that allowed him to build a strong relationship with the dogs and travel with Leah as she pursued her dream of travel nursing. Traveling together, the pair explored Washington, Arizona, North Carolina, and Maine; forging life-long memories and finding new friends.

In September of 2022, Lucas lured Leah and a handful of close friends and family into the North Cascade mountains to attempt a 20-mile trek. Thankfully, the hike was cut short by a dream proposal beside an alpine lake.

And they lived happily ever after.
