Wedding Ceremony

St Peter & St Paul Orthodox Church

This will be a traditional Orthodox wedding ceremony, with multiple elements including the betrothal (exchanging of rings), crowning of marriage, sharing of the common cup, and ceremonial procession. Booklets will be available for guests who would like to follow along! Due to limited seating inside the church, we ask that those who are able to stand for the duration of the ceremony (~1 hour), please leave seating for those who are unable. We ask that all phones be turned OFF during the ceremony- photos will be taken by a professional. Thank you!

Bargetto Winery

Come celebrate with us! The afternoon will begin with a “sip and celebrate” in the cellars. Appetizers will be served, and we will have a selection of 4 different Bargetto wines, local hard cider, and non-alcoholic options available. After mingling in the cellars with friends and family, we will move the party to the outside courtyard to enjoy a delicious taco bar, music, and dancing! Please note that hard liquor and outside beverage is strictly prohibited on the property- guests violating this rule will be asked to leave.

Dress Code

Dress code: Formal

(Although any floral or summery patterned attire is welcome!)

Proper dress inside the church includes attire that is modest and respectful. Women are asked to cover shoulders if wearing any strapless or low cut dresses or tops. Dresses or skirts should be at knee-length or below. Men are asked to wear long pants and long-sleeve shirts, and to remove all hats while in the sanctuary.

Venues + Parking

Ceremony Parking:

56 spots are available in the southern parking lot located just before the church. Overflow parking is permitted on Brown Gables Road, but please be mindful of driveways! The northern parking lot (just past the church sign) will NOT be available for wedding parking- it is reserved for a separate event. Please park in the southern parking lot or along Brown Gables Road instead!

Reception Parking:

30 parking spots will be available at Bargetto Winery - Please do not park in spots designated for wine tasting! Overflow parking is available at Main Street Elementary School.
