Our Wedding

April 10th we finally said “I do!” It was a long time coming, and we couldn’t be happier that we’ve finally tied the knot. If you asked us when we got engaged in 2018, we would have never thought that eloping would be in our future. Our “dream wedding” was to be surrounded by you, our friends and family, in Halifax on May 16th, 2020. When it looked like we had to postpone, our dream didn’t change. We still wanted the wedding we had planned for nearly two years. Our thinking was if we just had to change the date, so be it! A small price to pay to have the day we always wanted. As time dragged on, and it looked like our postponed date had to once again be postponed, we made the decision to choose MARRIAGE instead of our dream wedding. What we truly wanted was to be married - we didn’t need the perfectly planned day. Besides, life is rarely perfect. And planning this wedding definitely taught us that.
