We met on the first day of college at UW-Platteville. Our roommates were in contact, and we all decided to hangout! We had great conversation and started to learn more about one another. When leaving Lucas's dorm that night Meredith called her mom saying, "is it possible to fall in love at first sight, because she just met the cutest ginger kid ever!" They continued to hangout for Thirsty Thursdays and made any excuse to see each other.

Lucas was always the sweetest, my favorite memory of Lucas before we started dating was when he brought me brownies on his only 15-minute break during a 12-hour shift. He walked through 10-12 inches of snow just to bring me a tray of brownies that the wedding he was working had left over. Lucas continues to prioritize the small things and continues to make me feel special almost 5 years later. He is the most kind, caring, handsome man I have ever met, and I can't wait to celebrate our love and to spend forever together.

Meredith is one of the most caring, beautiful, thoughtful people you will ever meet. My favorite memories of us as a couple have been anywhere from playing open gym volleyball together to eating our usual breakfast wraps before class to spontaneous late night Walmart trips together. Meredith has always allowed me to be myself and has always been there for me no matter what. I could not imagine a life without her. I can't wait to see where this crazy life takes us.
