Lucas and I have known each other for 9 years. I liked to think of us as work friends but little did I know, Lucas thought of us as work acquaintances. lol Over the years we have gotten to know each other pretty well. We’ve shared stories about our lives, interests and hobbies. We even commiserated over bad online dates…ok, maybe that was just me. lol Last summer Lucas and I decided to take our “acquaintance-ship“ outside work and we planned a day to go kayaking. Lucas has always had a rule for himself, no dating someone you work with. He later told me, on that day he knew he was breaking his rule by asking me out. This summer will be our one year anniversary! Cheers to breaking rules!! ❤️

Lucas knows Kalaloch is my favorite place in WA. I’ve grown up camping there my whole life! He surprised me with a drive out to Kalaloch and proposed to me in front of the tree of life. Now Kaloloch is even more special to me and is now a special place for Lucas🖤
