Once upon a time on a dating app called Bumble, Luci and Mike found each other. After chatting online for a couple of months, they finally met in person in December 2017, by chance, in Morristown, NJ. That night, after midnight struck, they shared their first kiss.

Their first official date was the next day, on December 2nd, at a movie theater in Hillsborough, NJ. This town became special to them as it was halfway between Luci's home in Montgomery, NJ, and Mike's in Martinsville, NJ.

Despite living in different countries, with Luci being from Brazil and Mike from the US, they decided to make their relationship work. Luci returned to the US on a student visa after her aupair program ended.

During the COVID pandemic in April 2020, Mike proposed to Luci on top of Wittenberg Mountain. It was a beautiful moment, and Mike even FaceTimed Luci's family in Brazil to ask for their blessings, with the help of her brother as a translator. With the pandemic making wedding planning difficult, they decided to tie the knot on May 31st of the same year at George Washington Crossing Park in PA.

On the following month, they moved in together to their first home, where they have shared and cherished memorable moments, with many more to come!

Together, Luci and Mike have grown in love and as individuals. Mike's dedication to learning Portuguese to communicate with Luci's family shows his love.

They cherish the support and love they have received from their families, and they are excited to continue building their lives together with their extended family.

Now, over four years later, they are excited to celebrate their love with family and friends in Luci's tropical home country, Brazil.
