Lucinda and Elliott’s story starts in 2011 when Lucinda went to a friend's party and the first person she saw was Elliott, sitting alone on the couch watching Harry Potter – she was smitten at first sight!

After a few strategic hangouts with mutual friends, Lucinda and Elliott quickly formed a close friendship, bonded through weekly Sunday hikes in the Columbia Gorge and aimless drives, listening to music. They supported each other through nearly two years of boyfriends, girlfriends, heartache, and breakups, but they always knew there was a longing to be together.

In June 2013, the wooing and waiting were finally over. Both Lucinda and Elliott were single at the same time and wasted no time in coupling up! It came as no surprise to either of them that their journey would result in being loved up for over a decade. Their relationship has gone through big and beautiful changes, mixed with moments of sweetness and a bit of sorrow too. Through it all, they’ve encouraged each other to pursue their dreams and to set off on big adventures, they’ve survived two years of long-distance and have moved to new cities to be with one another, they’ve built a life together and are excited for the next chapter.

In 2023, Elliott and Lucinda honored their decade-long commitment to each other by tying the knot in the Mt. Hood National Forest on their anniversary, the summer solstice. They had always dreamed of a special ceremony amongst nature, just like Lucinda’s parents and sister, followed by a large wedding celebration with all their family and friends. As they learned early on in their relationship, good things come with time, and they are so excited to finally host a meaningful and magical weekend to honor the people who have given them so much support and love throughout their lives
