Our Wedding

The long road here...

Our love story began in 2004 and 15 years later, Ryan asked me to marry him. He asked me on my birthday in Spain. We celebrated our engagement at Bodega de los Secretos, a 400 year old underground winery.

In February 2020, we attended the Disney Wedding Showcase. With our love of all things Disney, we decided to have a Disney Wedding on February 1st, 2021.We scheduled engagement photos at Disneyland in March 2020. But due to COVID, Disneyland shut down and we had to cancel our photo shoot. We still wanted to have engagement photos taken and our photographer, Tiffany, recommended Mission San Juan Capistrano after hearing that we got engaged in Spain. In November 2020, our wedding planner notified us about the continue closure of Disneyland and we needed to postpone. COVID would not stop us and we decided to elope.

Wedding Planning & Postponement

February 1, 2021 was our wedding date and nothing would stop us. With very little planning, we decided to drive to Vegas with Cheese and get married. We found the chapel, photographer and wedding cake baker online a few days before our date and everything fell into place perfectly. Our chapel was simple but beautiful. Ryan wore an old suit. I purchased an additional wedding dress from David's Bridal. We ate Chipotle after our wedding and danced in a parking structure to a TuPac song that was being played from another car across the street. Took amazing photos in Downtown Vegas. Cheese was the bestest Best Man. And I surprised Ryan with a "Cars" wedding cake.

One year later, we want to celebrate our love and marriage with all of you! Our Disney Wedding is still on and we are beyond excited to party with our closest friends and family.

Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa

For guests not staying at the Grand Californian Hotel Parking: Self parking is available at 1600 S. Disneyland Drive. The parking lot is located across the street from the Grand Californian Hotel. Security will ask for your name and the event you are attending before you enter the hotel.Valet parking is available at the hotel entrance.

Wedding Day   Get Ready: The bride will be getting ready in the Lily Room located on the first floor of the hotel. The groom will be getting ready in his hotel room. Ladies are welcome to get ready in the Lily Room or stop by to partake in a light breakfast.   Ceremony: The ceremony will take place at the Parkview Terrace located on the fifth floor of the hotel. Take the main elevator (next to the lobby) to the fifth floor, the outdoor terrace is located to the left when exiting the elevators.   Pre-Reception: The Pre Reception will take place at the Brisa Courtyard 2. Take the main elevator to the first floor and exit to the right. You will see glass double doors that will lead you to the Brisa Courtyard 1. Continue along the walking path toward the Brisa Courtyard 2.   Reception: The Reception will take place at the Brisa Courtyard 1. From Brisa Courtyard 2, follow the walking path back to Brisa Courtyard 1.
