“Worlds change when eyes meet”

Lucy and I first met when she gatecrashed my firm’s summer brunch and pretended to be one of the new partners. Oh, “I’m the new healthcare partner” she said….my reply - “well that’s funny because I’m in the healthcare group and I don’t remember you”. She had already blindsided me by appearing from behind a tree. I was immediately blown away by her and she totally knocked me off what little game I have. I’m normally a hug you when I meet you kind of guy, but since this was a work event I went for a handshake, and gave the limpest most pathetic one of my life, to which she replied “ what the fu*k was that”. I was in love!!

Fast forward 18 months, a whirlwind romance full of fun and laughter and love, and here we are preparing for our wedding and the rest of our lives together.

Home at last.
