Once upon a time, in a far away land (MediaCityUK), a nervous 25-year-old started her big new job at the BBC. Whilst (apprehensively) attending some after-work Christmas drinks with her new team, she befriended a tall, handsome, cheeky chap with *very* glossy hair.

They flirted in the kitchen whilst making (probably too many) brews and eventually started walking home together, after Lucy moved into a studio flat round the corner. After having lots of 'after work drinks with a mate', Ben finally plucked up the courage to ask Lucy out on a 'real date'. A few months later, the pair were inseparable.

Shortly after, Lucy and Ben - in a slightly rushed manner after Ben landed himself a shiny new job at Radio 1 - moved their lives down south to "take on the big smoke". They ventured round new areas, had great times with great pals, made loads of memories (good and bad), tried new hobbies, worked hard at their media jobs and realised they made the best team.

A few years later, they moved back up north, mainly to get away from sweaty tubes, sky high rent and the sound of mice scratching through the carpet. This is the chapter where a new member entered the duo - Dennis the (naughty) whippet.

In classic rom-com style, they continued making memories together back in their old city. After adjusting back to northern living and having some incredible summers filled with parties, weddings, dog walks, new friends, old friends, cocktails, family time and holidays, life felt bloody great. (Ok, so they're not completely perfect, there may have been the odd argument but let's ignore them for now).

And just like that... They're getting married!
