- The V&A Waterfront: this is the port, it's very touristy but still nice to go there - if you want to shop local handcrafts, you can go to the Watershed

- Simon's Town (and see the penguins at Boulders Beach)

- Free diving / snorkeling / diving with seals

- Sea Safari (kayaking in Sea Point)

- Kite surf and stay in a house boat in Langebaan (1.5h drive from CT - Shark Bay being the best spot: turquoise flat lagoon) and Scarborough (45min drive from CT - wavy and best view)

- Fish braai on the beach at Die Strandlooper

- Stargazing in the Karoo (e.g. Shutherland Planetarium)

- Explore cave painting and boulder in the Cederberg (e.g. Sevilla Rock Art Trail)
