The tale unfolded as Lucy, a beautiful and charming young lady, and Jason, a handsome and kind-hearted soul, met as friends at Bradford Beach for jovial volleyball practice in the summer of 2021. They became friends, and little did they know, their lives would change forever. It wasn’t until August 2023, when Lucy invited Jason to join her team at Beulah Brinton Community Center, that their love for the sport quickly turned into something more. The two kindred spirits planned to spend an afternoon at a cat cafe while playing volleyball at the Root River Center.

On September 22nd 2023, they went to the Sip & Purr Cat Café, where they spent hours playing with the adorable felines and enjoying each other’s company; they knew their friendship had blossomed into something special.

Their next adventure would take them to the Beer Olympics Games in Wisconsin Dells. Lucy’s competitive spirit shone through as she won various games and even placed second in the costume contest with Jason’s dedicated support. As they spent more time together, they realized that there was something magical between them.

Unfortunately, Lucy fell ill with COVID after the trip. Nevertheless, every cloud has a silver lining. During this challenging time, Jason’s unwavering support and care showed her how much he truly loved her. As Lucy recovered, their relationship grew more robust, and they found themselves drawn to each other in ways they never thought possible.

When they met again at a volleyball practice, Lucy invited Jason for a treat at Kyoto Hibachi & Sushi. Slowly but surely, the Cupid Angel had been knocking on their doors! They became each other’s pillars of strength and support, and nothing could break their bond.

They spent Halloween together on an official first date, visiting the Nine Below Haunted Mini Golf House in October 2023. As the conversation flowed, they continued to explore the wonders of Wisconsin, from haunted houses to feline shows, making new memories and cherishing each moment they spent together. As Lucy’s love for kittens is well-known, Jason even almost adopted a cat for Lucy at one of the shows!

As they went apple picking together at Apple Holler, Jason made an apple pie for Lucy with the apples they had picked. It was a romantic gesture that showed the depth of his feelings for her. Over time, they met each other’s families, celebrated Thanksgiving, and shared countless moments of joy and laughter.
