The Canoe Club is an exclusive Lake Placid beachfront facility, located just down the road from the Whiteface Lodge, accessible by complimentary shuttle. This exclusive private beach is the perfect place for a family outing and offers beachside dining, along with complimentary canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, paddle boards, swimming, dining, volleyball, badminton, tetherball, bocce ball, horseshoes and life sized Jenga. Enjoy a memorable excursion on Lake Placid with one of the private motor boats that are available for rent. Each motor boat is escorted by a certified driver.
Olympic Museum is a must-see when you are in Lake Placid. Explore exhibits from both the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics, with video highlights, athletes’ memorabilia, and lots of history. It’s open daily from 10 AM till 5 PM with guided tours at 10 AM, 11:30 AM and 1 PM.
