Our journey began in January 2019 when Mike introduced Lucy to the rest of the Newmark team, neither knowing that our alliance in the professional sphere would foretell something far beyond the world of commercial real estate.

The casual exchanges during meetings, spontaneous coffee chats, and the camaraderie at work happy hours steadily revealed our shared humor, values, and pragmatic outlook on life, blurring the lines between professional association and personal connection. Though officially dating since the summer of 2019, our budding romance remained discreet within our workplace—we thought we were slick.

Amidst Mike’s move to DC just before 2020 and the global changes that ensued, our lives aligned unexpectedly. As our love deepened, Mike transitioned jobs to liberate our relationship from its previously clandestine confines. Together, we ventured on trips to New York, Mexico, Ireland, further solidifying our bond. Another milestone arrived in October 2022 when Mike proposed, followed by the purchase of our new home less than a year later.

Looking ahead, we’re excited for the many chapters yet to be written. Together, we anticipate the simple joys, shared adventures, and the everyday moments that will continue to fill our lives with love and happiness.
