Do you believe that fairy tales can really come true?

That ships don’t always pass silently in the night?

That there is no expiration date on the possibility of falling in love again?

That karaoke can join hearts while making ears bleed at the same time?

All of this, and so much, much more, is the story of Luisa and Paul………

As many of you know by now, Luisa and Paul met purely by happenstance on July 13, 2023 at Gandalf’s Pub in Valley City – Paul was “singing” karaoke and thanks to Cat-Cat making a quick, executive decision,

Luisa wound up at the end of the bar by his seat.

One or two sharp barbs later and they both realized that they shared the same quick and, shall we say, warped, sense of humor. (As Luisa likes to point out, Paul turned 69 this past October and therefore no longer “owes her one”.)

Followed by a relaxing lunch and walk through the mall the next day, another trait that they quickly realized they shared was an absolute love of friends and family, and a willingness to do whatever possible for them.

This has not been your average love story, as evidenced by Luisa and Paul electing to follow their July 13, 2024 legal union in Valley City (the one-year anniversary of the day they met) with this celebration of love and life in Cancun on November 1, 2024, one day prior to “Dia de Los Muertos” (Day of the Dead), complete with clothing and styling appropriate for the day meant to celebrate the lives of family members who have passed.

It would be easy to say that “the rest is history”, but Luisa and Paul lovingly and passionately look forward to creating and enjoying much more history together in the coming years.
