Q + A

HOW RUSTIC ARE THESE RUSTIC CABINS?

Lourdes Camp is a seasonal summer camp for children. All of the cabins have single bunk beds, and sleep between 4 - 18 people. There are more than enough cabins on site, so you/your family/friends will have your own cabin. You will need to bring your own bedding and towels. Each cabin has electricity and outlets. There are communal bathrooms with hot and cold running water for showers. The bathrooms are in separate buildings and will be a small walk from your cabin. We recommend bringing shower sandals for the weekend. If you do not like camping, you probably would not enjoy a stay in the rustic cabins. **If you would like to stay in the cabins but are flying, let us know and we'd happily provide you with anything you'd need for a comfortable cabin stay.**

I'M STAYING IN A RUSTIC CABIN, NOW WHAT?

Once you RSVP yes to staying in a cabin, we will reach out to provide you with additional information about staying on site, and make sure you have everything you need for a pleasant stay.

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD/BEVERAGES TO CAMP?

Absolutely, yes. If you choose to stay at camp for pre- and post-wedding festivities, please feel free to bring any food and (alcoholic) beverages you'd like. There is a full industrial kitchen, walk-in cooler, freezer, and ice machines in the dining hall available for the use of all guests.

WHERE IS THE CLOSEST GROCERY STORE TO LOURDES CAMP?

TOPS Friendly Markets, 40 Fennell St, Skaneateles, NY -- Byrne Dairy & Deli, 38 Jordan St, Skaneateles, NY -- Wegmans, 1 Loop Rd, Auburn, NY

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

In short, whatever makes you happy! We will be dressed comfortably for the majority of the weekend, and dressed more formally (for us ;)) for the ceremony. We are happy you are celebrating with us and are not in the least bit concerned with what you are wearing. Regardless of what you choose, be sure to wear sensible footwear as the majority of the venue is grass, and heels will not fair well.

WHAT IS THE PARKING SITUATION LIKE?

There is limited on-site parking at the camp. If you choose to take advantage of the full camp experience and stay in the rustic camp cabins, feel free to park your car all weekend! Otherwise, we'd really appreciate you carpooling if that is an option to save space for activities.

ARE KIDS ALLOWED?

Yes. You and your whole family are more than welcome to join in on our celebration. There will be plenty of kids around, but if you choose to enjoy some kid-less time, we are in full support of that as well.

ARE DOGS ALLOWED?

No. Walter and Fern, the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet, will be on site for the weekend, but unfortunately they are the only dogs allowed on property.
