We’re so excited to celebrate our wedding on April 17th, 2026 in beautiful Miramar Beach, Florida! We’ve always dreamed of getting married on the beach, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to make that dream a reality surrounded by our closest family and friends. Our wedding won’t be a traditional one — we’re planning a laid-back celebration that’s all about good energy, great company, and enjoying the beach. Our ceremony will take place outdoors in the venue’s backyard courtyard area overlooking the beach, followed by a reception that feels more like a fun beach party than a formal event. Please note that this will be an adults-only celebration (21+), so everyone can fully relax, let loose, and enjoy the weekend. If you have any questions please contact us privately. Wedding Day ExpectationsWe are so excited that you are joining us on our special day. We can’t wait to celebrate with you. Below are a few important things to keep in mind for our wedding day on April 17th. Parking &amp; ShuttleDue to limited parking at the venue, we kindly ask guests to park at the Hilton Garden Inn Destin Miramar Beach. Since we anticipate most guests will be staying there, we’ll be providing shuttle transportation from the hotel to the venue starting at 4:00 PM, with return trips after the reception. Arrival &amp; TimingCeremony Start Time: 5:00 PMArrival Time: Please arrive at the house by 4:45 PMWe kindly ask that everyone be seated by 4:55 PM so we can stay on schedule and take full advantage of the sunset. Ceremony ExperienceWe respectfully ask that no phones be used during the ceremony. This allows our photographer to capture the moment without distractions. All professional photos will be shared after the wedding.Because this will be a small and intimate ceremony, we also ask that guests refrain from filming or taking photos during the ceremony.You are welcome to take photos before Scott Bartel announces that phones need to be put away. Phones may be used again after Halle and Luke exit the ceremony. Dress CodePlease follow our dress code and refrain from wearing jeans or shorts. A color palette is provided at the bottom of this page, and we ask that you follow it as closely as possible.We do not want anyone to feel like they need to purchase something specifically for this wedding. Staying within the color palette helps keep family photos cohesive. The ceremony and reception will take place in a beautiful beachfront backyard on grass and brick, with photos on the beach following the ceremony. Please plan footwear accordingly. CelebrationWe hope to create a memorable experience for everyone and keep the atmosphere elegant, fun, and celebratory throughout the evening. Respect &amp; Property GuidelinesPlease respect the property, as it is a rented Airbnb. We are responsible for any damage that may occur.Due to property rules, no guests under the age of 21 are permitted at this event. Flow of the DayHalle and Luke will be doing a first look, and some guests may be asked to arrive earlier for family photos.We plan to keep the ceremony brief so everyone can enjoy cocktail hour and transition smoothly into the reception.
