We met on a ski trip in 2021 in Crested Butte, CO. Near this time during our years at Texas A&M, we both started to follow Jesus. This was huge for the trajectory of our lives, as it would influence everything about them. We remained friends throughout college, even working at the same beach town restaurant one summer in Panama City Beach, FL. Our passions for Christ and advancing His kingdom kept us busy (and single!). Luke graduated and joined the A&M StuMo staff team, while Claire finished out her senior year, after committing to work for StuMo in Houston! 
It was in the late spring of 2024 when Luke decided to ask Claire out on a date. He could not shake the pull that God had on his heart towards Claire. We continued to date throughout the summer and into the next fall, in which we began pre engagement counseling. This was a process in which we wanted to discern God’s will for our lives and if He was leading us to marry one another. A couple months go by and we discerned, with the help of our trusted counsel, that God was leading us to marry one another! 
Luke then proposed on Sunday, January 26th in College Station at a park where they went on their second date. Our hearts desire is to follow Jesus together. We are passionate about reaching the lost and building up men and women for Christ. We will be working with StuMo at A&M beginning this summer! We are so excited!
