Aquarium of the Pacific - Excellent little aquarium. Got some free time, go see some sharks!

Queen Mary- See a historically significant (and potentially haunted???) boat from 1936. If you're feeling brave and don't mind being further away from the venue, you can even stay there!

Disneyland

While we'll be the happiest people on earth for our wedding, you can head to the happiest place on earth while you're in town. Its only about a 30 minute car ride or hour by bus from Long Beach.

----- In Los Angeles -----

There's tons to see and do in LA. Here's a few we like, that might not be on your average list

Getty Museum- Always free! (Though they charge for parking) You'll need a reservation if you want to go to the Getty Villa as well, which we highly recommend for the views alone, let alone the art.

Museum of Jurassic Technology One of the most...unique experiences in LA. It's difficult to describe, but heads up it is not what you'd think.

Blessed Sacrament Hollywood- If you're in Hollywood to see the sign or the walk of fame (admittedly recently rated the most disappointing tourist attraction in the country) stop by our 110 year old church of the Catholic celebs of the 40s and 50s.

Sunset and Vinyl- Again, if you're in Hollywood, check out this cozy speakeasy bar. You can find it on Google Maps, but the entrance is unmarked. Go into the 800 Degrees Pizza, head straight to the back, past the restrooms, and you'll find the stairs to the bar.

Venice Beach and Canals-They are on the tourist lists, but if you're in the area both are extremely fun to explore. Put your sunscreen on and do some very unique people-watching.
