The day we made our relationship official! We had met through the dating app, Hinge, just about a month earlier. After a fantastic first meeting phone call (after which Lauren called her Dad and said "this Luke guy is really cool!") and some great getting-to-know-each-other dates, Luke asked Lauren if she would be his girlfriend, officially. She said yes, if you were wondering!

We had a somewhat long-distance relationship in the beginning. With Luke living in Eagan and Lauren living in St. Cloud, we'd have to journey far in order to spend time with each other. FaceTime dates were frequent and we'd try to see each other in-person when we could.

Lauren's life in St. Cloud was coming to an end and she was getting ready to move closer to the Twin Cities. Luke helped Lauren pack as quickly as he could so FaceTime dates could become face-to-face dates!

We celebrated the wedding of Lauren's sister, Nicole! It was an amazing day and a wonderful way to start our next chapter of no-longer-long-distance dating.

To celebrate our one-year of dating, we went out for a night of dancing.

Lauren loves going to see Luke's shows.

And Luke loves watching Lauren play volleyball with her team.

Right around our 2-year dating anniversary, we took a trip to the North Shore where Luke proposed to Lauren. Once again, she said yes! Thank goodness!!
