In Luke and Loren's story, two beers really seem to create milestones in their relationship!

At the very end of July, Luke tells Loren that he's always wanted to go to the biggest beer festival in the world, Oktoberfest. The festival is in Munich, Germany and he was considering going. Loren told him she would go with him for sure and he started planning the trip!

The photo above was taken on September 24, 2024 in Marienplatz, Germany about 30 minutes before they said they loved each other for the first time. Luke and Loren took a Hop-On-Hop-Off tour and this was Stop#6. After two beers, Luke told Loren that he felt safe knowing he'd found his person. He shared some sweet words with her, nearly bringing her to tears, then picks up the empty beers.

"I'm going to refill our beers, give me a kiss" he says.

Loren stands and gives him a peck.

"Love you" he says, then turns away and goes to refill their beers.

Loren is absolutely speechless and is wondering why Luke is walking away instead of waiting to hear a response.

When Luke returned to the table with two full steins, Loren starts talking about random stuff because she is so nervous and overthinking that he might have said he loved her as a joke. Then Luke interrupts her.

"Are you just going to pretend I didn't just tell you I love you?"

Loren replies with," I don't know I'm shy!"

He senses her nervousness, "Alright how about we just get it out of the way?"

He holds his stein up ready for a toast.

"Loren, I love you."

"Luke, I love you too"

The couple cheers to this awesome milestone they got to experience in Germany.
