Need a place to run out your kid's energy? This is a great spot to find maintained trails next to Ashland Creek, and a a great playground for the kids. A short walk will land you downtown Ashland for local shopping and great restaurant options.
Crater Lake National Park
Looking for an adventure? Just 80 miles from Ashland and driving in beautiful country, see the wonders of Crater Lake. $20 will get you into the park to drive around the rim (note: snow may be present at that elevation in March, so check weather conditions beforehand).
Lake of the Woods Resort
Lake of the Woods has a restaurant and bar on a beautiful mountain lake. This is the first place that Mabel ever camped overnight and she loved it. Note: there may be snow in the area in March, so check weather conditions before you go.
