Abby and Luke's story began long before they met, thanks to a lifelong friendship between their mothers that started over 25 years ago. In 2019, Abby moved from Florida to Knoxville to start her junior year of high school. As fate would have it, Luke was beginning his senior year at the same school.

Their initial meeting was inevitable, occurring at a dinner arranged by their mothers (Big shoutout to Kathy and Karen, thanks guys!!). From that first encounter, it was clear that Luke and Abby would become great friends. Luke's friendly smile, and sense of humor quickly made Abby feel at home in her new surroundings. As they spent more time together—sharing lunches, exploring the Smoky Mountains, and with Luke often helping Abby with her homework—their friendship naturally deepened. Luke also discovered how hilarious Abby is, so that helped a lot.

What began as casual interactions soon blossomed into something more. It wasn't long before everyone could see that Abby and Luke had become inseparable. Now, as they look forward to a future together, they are grateful for everything that brought them together.
