Our story had a romantic beginning the summer of '21 at the Kollege Klub downtown Minneapolis. Unfortunately for Halle, Luke had a couple of drinks before going out and talked for the majority of the conversation, quite the opposite of the dynamic that the relationship would soon become. Halle also happened to be the designated driver for her friends that night, which really put Luke's charm to the test...but here we are.

It all started when Halle made what Luke thought to be an intelligent comment about the Minnesota Wild. So much so that he walked himself to the opposite side of the table to sit by her. Luke filled the rest of the night with cringey questions like "Did you enjoy your elementary experience?" Although Halle would go on to make two escape attempts that night, something had to have worked as she agreed to a first date the following week. The rest is history!
