It all began in 2013, on a day that changed our lives forever. Luke was 16, and Isabelle was 14. From the moment we met, we felt something extraordinary, something we didn’t yet have the words to explain. That spark grew into love, we got “married” in the woods the first few hours of knowing each other and soon, we were spending every moment we could together—even if it meant seeing each other in secret. Our parents didn’t quite understand our connection, but we knew it was real.


For a time, it felt like nothing could stand in our way. But in June of 2014, the secret was out. Though the circumstances were tough, we held on and officially started dating. Those three years were full of memories, laughter, and firsts, but life had other plans. In 2016, Luke left for college, and the distance proved to be more than we could bear. We parted ways, not knowing if or when our paths would cross again.

Over the years, we both found ourselves in other relationships, learning and growing. Yet, something—or maybe someone—was always missing. Then, in 2023, fate intervened. Life brought us back together, and we realized that our love had only grown stronger in the time we were apart.

On June 29, 2024, Luke got down on one knee, and Isabelle said yes to forever. Now, as we prepare to say “I do” on May 17, 2025, we can’t help but reflect on the journey that brought us here. From secret dates to separate lives and back again, our story is proof that love—real love—always finds its way.
