Our Wedding

It all started when I moved to West Chester over the summer of 2023 to teach third grade. At this same time, God was calling Luke to help start up a young adults group at Center Pointe Christian Church. A few of my coworkers attend Center Pointe, and they recommended trying it out! I emailed the church, asking about the young adult group, and they gave me Luke's number! So I texted him and he invited me to sit with the group on Sunday. I met him in the lobby, and little did we know this was the start of our story!

August, 2023

We began hanging out in our young adult group, and one night we attended Abide Worship at Axis Church in Mason. Luke and I stayed in the parking lot for over 3 hours chatting about missions, passions, sourdough, and everything in between. Luke told me his mom makes sourdough bread, and I jokingly asked if she could give me some starter. Luke saw this as an opportunity to have me over, so sure enough he invited me over to get some starter - thanks Amy! We started taking frequent walks with Luke's dog, Jax. We both loved spending time together. Luke invited me to go with him and a few friends to Norris Lake for wake boarding. On our way home, we stopped at Cumberland Falls, and Luke asked me to be his girlfriend next to the water fall. After I said yes, I slipped and Luke caught me. I was 'falling' pretty hard by this time, too:)

September 2023

A few of our favorite memories while dating...

It was the Saturday after Valentine's day, and Luke said he had a surprise date planned. We went out to lunch, and then to paint pottery... we had such a lovely day! We were heading home and Luke said he had one more stop. He took me to the walking path where we went on our first date. He left me little notes along the path, and when we got to the end, he knelt down on one knee, and asked me to marry him! Our family planned a surprise dinner afterward &amp; it was the sweetest night!

Shuttle Service AvailableIf you are traveling from out of town and are staying at either the Hilton Garden Inn or Comfort Suites listed below, there will be a free shuttle service to and from the wedding! See below for times. To the Ceremony: A shuttle will be leaving from Hilton Garden Inn at 3:10 pm to drive guests to the ceremony. You will arrive around 3:35 pm. A shuttle will be leaving from Comfort Suites at 3:45 pm to drive guests to the Ceremony. You will arrive around 3:55 pm. Home from the Ceremony: A shuttle will be leaving the venue at 8:50 pm and 10:10 pm to drive guests back to Comfort Suites. A shuttle will be leaving the venue at 9:20 pm and 10:40 pm to drive guests back to Hilton Garden Inn.
