Our Wedding

Our story began with a mutual friend and a gentle nudge from the Lord.We first met through our friend Andrew Key while Luke was attending Bible college. At first, it was just conversations—long ones, meaningful ones—the kind that make you stop and wonder if something deeper might be happening. Over the next few weeks, we got to know each other, little by little, heart by heart.Then came the first date… or rather, the first almost date. Luke asked, and Megan said no—not because there wasn't interest, but because fear can sometimes speak louder than faith. So we took some time apart, both unsure of what was next.But God wasn’t finished writing our story.In that time of quiet and space, the Lord was working in both of our hearts—softening, guiding, and preparing us for something more. When we reconnected, things were different. There was peace, purpose, and a renewed sense that this was something worth saying yes to.So, we finally went on that date—and it turned out to be the beginning of forever.On August 16, we got engaged, and now we’re stepping into this new season hand in hand, rooted in faith and surrounded by love. Known for his deep wisdom, gentle spirit, and unwavering kindness, Pastor Chism is someone who truly embodies grace and faith. It is an honor to have him as part of the wedding.

A true example of strength and kindness, the groom’s dad is the kind of man who leads with both hard work and heart. He’s always ready with a joke to lighten the mood, a listening ear when it’s needed most, and the quiet wisdom that only comes from experience. His understanding nature and generous spirit have shaped the groom into the man he is today—and his presence makes this special day even more meaningful.

Brandi, the bride’s older sister, is more like a second mom than just a sibling. Growing up, she played a pivotal role in guiding and supporting the bride, offering wisdom and love at every turn. As the matron of honor, Brandi brings not only a lifetime of sisterly love but also a deep understanding of the bride’s heart, making her an irreplaceable part of this special day.

Nate, the grooms younger brother.  Nate keeps everyone smiling with his sarcastic sense of humor. Loyal, down-to-earth, and always ready with a perfectly timed joke, he’s the kind of guy the groom is glad to have by his side.

Baylie and the bride go way back. From those early days of surviving middle and high school side by side, their friendship has only grown stronger (and louder!). With a bubbly personality and a laugh that fills the room, Baylie brings energy and joy wherever she goes. She’s been there through all the ups and downs, and she’s right by the bride’s side to celebrate this amazing milestone.

Ben has been a steady presence in the groom's life, both as a role model and one of his closest friends. He has offered continual guidance on what marriage should look like biblically, while also bringing laughter and joy through his sense of humor.

Joy has been a steadfast leader in the groom's life and quickly became a meaningful spiritual influence in the bride's, making her presence as a bridesmaid especially significant.

Over the years, their bond has grown into a close friendship, built on trust and loyalty. The groom knows that no matter what, Aaron will always be there when needed, making him a truly irreplaceable part of this special day.

Kaylea is a long time friend of the bride, from high school, to hair school, and now coworkers. She’s been there through it all, offering support, laughs, and good company along the way.

As the groom’s only sister, Gail has always been his partner in crime—full of humor, mischief, and endless memories. When Megan and Gail first met, it didn’t take long for them to hit it off, forming a friendship built on laughter and genuine connection. It’s that bond, along with the deep love and respect Megan has for Gail, that made asking her to be in the wedding an easy choice. Having her by her side is a true honor.

Ava Kate, the junior bridesmaid, has been a part of the bride’s life since birth, and she adores her like a sister. With a playful smile, she’s quick to tell the groom, “I loved her first!” Her bond with the bride is undeniable, and she proudly refers to her as “sister,” adding a sweet, protective touch to the celebration.
